Take a Walk with Me
Sunday, 5 June 2005
One Step at a Time
Mood:  happy
I am a walker. I love the freedom of walking. It is my exercise. A walk is for me, my religion. It is by far the best way to get to see the world, in that slow down, take a deep breath kind of a way. And these words are in a nut shell what my blog is going to be all about. I will be trying on an almost daily bases to list my walk for that day. This will be a combination of my walking journal, and tourist information sheet.

To begin I am not your take a nice easy short stroll kind of walker. Given time and freedom, I am a long distance walker, thinking nothing of covering up wards of twenty miles in a day. Unfortunately, time and freedom aren’t a reality for any of us, and so most of these walks will be shorter affairs of around three to four miles in length.

I will write about these walks for those of you can’t enjoy to beauty of a walk in Vermont. I will tell you about the weather, the path upon which I walk, the views to be had on our hills, and how these places change through the year. For those of you who can be in our area, or have the joy of living here, I will include directions, parking information, and anything else that might be helpful to your trip.

Stop by often, and enjoy my world. One step at a time.
